Our Evolution
Centralized Medical Equipment was co-founded by Jeffrey A. Goldshine,
BS, LNHA, and Douglas B. Noble, ESQ. in 2006.
The principals have over 50 years of healthcare experience focused on development, management and operations here in New England.
Most recently, the partners were principle share holders of Commonwealth Communities ("CC"), a MA- based healthcare operator of chronic hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living residences. Over it's thirteen year existence, Commonwealth Communities was recognized as a leading provider of these services in MA. On February 28, 2006, CC's hospitals, nursing homes and ALF's were acquired by Kindred, a national public healthcare organization.

We are proud to say that Centralized Medical Equipment is CHAP certified and has been commended for our commitment to quality care by voluntarily seeking accreditation.
What is CHAP?
CHAP, or Community Health Accreditation Program, is a national accreditation program that requires the highest standards of excellence from its recipients in the areas of management, quality control, client outcomes, adequate resources and long-term viability. CHAP requirements promote the following:

- Continuous quality improvement
- Consumer satisfaction
- Positive client outcomes
- Meeting community health needs in a cost-effective and efficient manner

What does this mean for you?
With the purpose of helping the public select companies with measured and proven superiority, CHAP validates the excellence of those earning its recognition. As part of the certification process, CHAP requires applicants to do a self evaluation before a site visit. Organizations are judged on the quality and efficiency of their operations, logistics, organization and performance. As CHAP sets the highest standards of excellence, which all applicants must adhere to, you can rest assured that a CHAP certified company is one that cares about those it serves and can be trusted to exceed the needs of its customers.
